Three anti-racism organizations in Melrose – Fighting for Black Lives in Our Neighborhood, the Melrose Racial Justice Community Coalition, and Friends of Melrose METCO – are hosting racial justice forums for candidates for mayor, city council, and school committee. All candidates have been invited to participate. This will be an online forum that will focus on matters of race and racism. Questions will be crowdsourced from the community and will be provided to candidates before the forum.

The forum for city council candidates will be Wednesday, September 20 at 7 pm.
